    Variable DEFAULT_MIN_TURN_SILENCE_MSConst

    DEFAULT_MIN_TURN_SILENCE_MS: 2000

Minimum end-of-turn silence (ms) the AssemblyAI streaming STT waits before emitting a final (min_turn_silence). Endpointing lives in the STT provider, not the transport: disfluent speech (mid-utterance pauses, self- corrections, false starts) would otherwise split one intended utterance across several finals, each committing a turn — the agent answering half the request while the rest is still being spoken, then that same breath barging in and cancelling the reply. The cost is latency on a request that really did end at the first sentence; the failure it prevents costs the whole call. 2000 rather than 1500 because 1500 still split real speech: on Full-Duplex-Bench v3's human recordings, "I'm looking for, um, for a new [pause] let me think [pause] a desk" committed a final after "for a new" and the real request came as a separate turn — and that benchmark localizes it to silence, not word accuracy (self-corrections 100%, hesitations 33%, pauses 57%).
